Secretary of Health Annie
Neasman, MS., RN will be the
keynote speaker Friday,
November 7, 2003 during the
Women’s Health Conference at
Palm Beach Community
College, Lake Worth campus
Neasman will address the
current status of Health in
the State of Florida and
focus on the many issues
facing not only women but,
all Florida residents. Some
of the topics to be covered
include; diabetes, asthma,
HIV/AIDS, cancer and
cardiovascular disease..
Saturday, November 8, 2003, the all day conference will
feature sessions dealing
with the six major health
disparities in women. Area
physicians and clinicians
will be the guest lecturers
offering their expertise on
prevention and care. The
lunchtime lecture will
feature Jean M. Malecki,
M.D. Palm Beach County
Health Department Director.
