Beach County Health
Department Flu information
and referral line.
At this time we have
accumulated a waiting list
to match the amount of flu
vaccine we have on hand and
anticipate arriving in
January.
If you already gave your name for the waiting list and have
not received a call please
be patient as we are trying
to reach and schedule all on
the list.
In the mean time please recheck with your private medical
provider as many doctors
received the flu vaccine
between December 15 and now.
Please keep in mind that a pneumonia shot can prevent serious
complications from the flu.
Should you be exhibiting flu
symptoms antiviral's
prescribed by your doctor
can reduce symptoms and even
help prevent further
complications.
Please continue to monitor your personal health status, avoid
crowded places, wash your
hands often and stay at home
if you are sick.
Keep monitoring your favorite media source for further
updates on when and where
flu shots will be offered in
late January.
