BEACH COUNTY, FL-The
Palm Beach County Health
Department is seeking
volunteers to help man our
Flu Referral and Information
lines. This service is being
provided to the community
Monday thru Friday from 9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in order
to handle the large volume
of calls that are coming
into the health department
regarding the flu and the
current shortage.
We are looking for
individuals who possess the
following skills:
-
Able to remain calm and
give reassuring messages
that have been developed
-
Experience handling
telephone calls from the
community
-
Courteous telephone
manners
If you
are interested in becoming a
volunteer, please contact
the Immunizations Office at
561-840-0148. The phone
service is expected to be
active through December and
any hours contributed would
be a real service to the
community.
We ask all callers to please be calm and patient when calling
the flu referral and
information line (561)
712-6501. If you
experienced difficulty in
getting through, it is
advisable to try again on
another day.
