DELRAY BEACH, FL—The Palm Beach County Health
Department’s Delray Beach
Health Center is conducting
a health fair, Thursday,
October 7, 2004 from 9:00 AM
to 3:00 PM. The event will
be free to the public and
will feature numerous
healthy activities.
“This year we have put together a program which will be fun
and informative for all”,
said Delray Health Center
Volunteer coordinator
Barbara Purr. “There will be
glucose, vision and hearing
screenings as well as free
mammograms to qualified
persons and a minimal charge
for those not qualifying
courtesy of the HOPE
Project.”
Children will be entertained in the bounce house and free
snow cones will be available
to all. The adults will have
the opportunity to attend
informative seminars on how
to use a (AED monitor)
defibrillator courtesy of
the Delray Beach Fire
Department and the Sheriff’s
Office will conduct a Senior
Safety Presentation. For

questions regarding a
