The Palm Beach County Health
Department is asking
residents of Lake Clarke
Shores and the area South of
Summit and east of Florida
Mango to avoid the canal
waters for irrigation,
boating and fishing through
the weekend.
On Thursday evening a quantity of raw sewage was illegally
dumped in a canal near
Florida Mango and Forest
Hill Boulevard and on Friday
two other locations where
raw sewage was dumped were
discovered in the same
vicinity.
The Town of Lake Clarke Shores has removed much of the sewage
and the remainder is being
monitored for dissipation,
which should occur over the
next two days.
Persons seeing any suspicious dumping of sewage in the area
should report it to the Lake
Clarke Shores Police
Department.
