improving the health of
people in our area.
On Friday, April 7, 2006,

Services Council, 1919 North
Flagler Drive in West Palm
Beach, a community-wide
strategic planning
initiative, Mobilizing for
Action through Planning and
Partnerships (MAPP) will be
announced.
Facilitated by the Palm
Beach County Health
Department, MAPP is a
community-wide strategic
planning tool for improving
public health, as well as an
action oriented process to
help communities prioritize
public health issues,
identify resources for
addressing them, and take
action.
Health Department Director,
Jean M. Malecki, MD said,
“This is a great opportunity
to engage and challenge the
community to take a
visionary look at what will
be needed in the future and
to be a part of those health
solutions.”

team for this initiative is
made up of representatives
from all segments of the
