    PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL—School begins August 22 and the Palm Beach County Health Department is offering a number of locations for students to receive their required vaccinations prior to school beginning.

    All new and transferring students are required to have been vaccinated against Diphtheria Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Hepatitis B. Seventh graders should have a Tetanus/Diphtheria booster. Kindergarten through sixth grade should also have had the chicken pox vaccine.

    Six Health Department Clinics are offering shots at the following locations:

    Jupiter Health Center, 6405 Indiantown Road, 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday Walk-ins accepted appointments recommended 561-746-6751

    West Palm Beach Health Center, 1150 45th Street, 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday. Walk-ins only (Limited to available hours)

    Lantana/Lake Worth Health Center, 1250 Southwinds Drive, 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, Walk-ins accepted, appointments recommended, 561-547-6800

    Delray Beach Health Center, 225 S. Congress, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, appointments only, 561-274-3126

    C.L. Brumback Health Center, 38745 State Road 80, Belle Glade, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Walk-ins and Appointments, 561-996-1618

    Pahokee Health Center, 1200 East Main Street, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, Walk-ins accepted Appointments recommended, 561-924-0184

    In addition to the Health Centers the Immunization Van will be traveling to sites in West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Palm Springs and Riviera Beach throughout August. Times and locations are posted at www.pbchd.com or by calling 800-810-1225. People can also visit their physician to obtain forms and immunizations.
