LANTANA, FL – Palm Beach
County Health Department,
the Multicultural
Organization and the Palm
Beach School for Autism are
presenting health fairs in
June that focus on the
benefits of early
intervention to the
multicultural communities.
Saturday, June 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Health
Department’s Lantana Health
Center, 1250 Southwinds
Drive, the first of the
three fairs will be
conducted. During this
event, one of the focuses
will be Autism and the
importance of early
intervention. Many other
health organizations will be
present to provide health
screenings, school
immunizations, expert
medical advice, and an
abundance of resource
materials in English,
Spanish and Creole.
In addition, to help keep the activities fun and interesting
for all ages, clowns, games,
face painting, prizes and
refreshments will be
available.
According to Health Department Director Dr. Jean Malecki, We
hope that through these
