    PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – We are what we eat and during National Nutrition Month all are reminded to Eat Right!

    The Health Department’s registered and licensed dieticians have sifted through a number of complex food and nutritional issues and are now ready to help the residents of Palm Beach County eat their way to better health during National Nutrition Month

The Palm Beach County Health Department WIC and Nutrition Division along with community partners are sponsoring a variety of events for National Nutrition Month®. Key partners include Palm Beach Dietetic Association, City of Lake Worth, School District of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach County Library System and Florida Cooperative Extension Services.

Health Department Dieticians will be at a number of locations to give people an opportunity to learn more about eating and nutrition.

  • 3/6/09 F @ 6 pm-10 pm, “Evening on the Avenues” nutrition booth, on corner of M. St. and Lake Ave., Lake Worth
     
  • 3/7/09 Sat. @ 9 am-12 pm, “Edible Gardens” seedling, plants & tasting provided @ Cooperative Extension, 559 N. Military Trail, WPB
     
  • 3/9/09 M @ 4 pm-8 pm, nutrition booth & tasting at Publix Greenwise PGA, 11231 Legacy Ave., Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410
     
  • 3/12/09 Thurs. 6 pm-8 pm, Nutrition presentation on Behavior modification @ Family Resource Center, 1901 Broadway, Riviera Beach, FL 33404
