PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL—Palm
Beach County Health
Department hopes all
children have a safe and fun
Summer vacation. But, it is
also reminding parents that
it’s never too early to
ensure their child is ready
to return to school by
reviewing and updating
required vaccinations.
Wednesday and Thursday, June 27 and 28 the health department
nurses, dental personnel on
the “Tooth Fairy” and others
are participating in two
outreaches in the western
communities. At the Bridges
Program they are providing
school physicals, children
dental exams, vision and
hearing screenings, and
early bird back to school
immunizations.
Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. they will be at the Bridges
at Pahokee Housing
Partnership, Inc., 170 S.
Barfield Highway Suite 102,
Pahokee, 561-899-1650. On
Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3
p.m. at Bridges at Belle
Glade Housing Partnership,
Inc., 816 West Canal Street
South, Belle Glade,
561-899-1646.
In addition, the Health Department Immunization Van will be
at the West Palm Beach
Health Center, 1150 45th
Street, West Palm Beach on
Wednesday the 27th from 9:30
a.m. to 2 p.m. and on
Thursday the 28th at Riviera
Beach Head Start, 1440
Martin Luther King Blvd.,
Riviera Beach.
