The School Health Division of the Palm Beach County Health
Department serves as a collaborative partner to provide School Health Services for the Public Schools of Palm Beach County.
The Division is responsible for medical oversight,
consultation, and education for school health program staff.
"The School Health Services Act" Section 381.0056 Florida Statutes enables County Health Departments to ensure
compliance with State and Federal laws and mandates applicability to school health.
The School Health Division strives to achieve quality through developing school health program
guidelines, policies and protocols in conjunction with school district directives. Planning, monitoring and reporting functions for all program partners is conducted on an on-going basis.
